Bryan's Section Championship winning birdie putt at historic Baltimore Country Club on the second playoff hole against PGA National Champion David Hutsell

Bryan Jackson was born in Norfolk, Virginia and graduated from James Madison University. After playing golf at JMU on a golf scholarship and competing in 4 NCAA tournaments, Bryan turned pro and played the mini tours in South Florida for 3 years. It's in South Florida where he also got into the business and teaching side of golf joining the PGA of America working at The Dye Preserve.

After moving back home to Virginia, Bryan joined Glenmore Country Club in Charlottesville, Virginia as an assistant golf professional. His time there was invaluable learning from resident and member Dr. Bob Rotella.

Knowing teaching was his passion, Bryan started an instruction business traveling and working with NASCAR drivers serving as their teacher professional and golf concierge. His state of the art mobile teaching center was set up at the NASCAR tracks in the driver's private RV lot to allow the them to take lessons and practice.

Bryan transitioned into the golf club sales world when he took a position with Cobra/Puma Golf. This exposed him to the golf club sales world and Trackman Radar in 2012. After 4 years, he accepted a position at Taylormade Golf. During this time period, Bryan fit thousands of golfers for clubs with Trackman radar technology and is know as one of the best club fitters in the state.

After leaving the sales world, Bryan continued teaching his NASCAR clients in Charlotte and in the Richmond area at a private indoor Trackman studio.  Some of the best amateur and professional golfers in the state continued to seek his golf knowledge. During this time he learned from some of the best teachers in the country (Sean Foley, Andrew Rice, Dr. Kwon, Dr. Sasho McKenzie, Grant Waite, Jeff Smith, Mark Blackburn, David Orr, Tyler Ferrell, Scott Cowx) through shadowing and certifications.

A 9 birdie 64 helped Bryan win the 2018 MAPGA Stroke Play Championship at Chevy Chase Club.

Bryan still competes as a professional golfer and has amassed over 20 professional wins in the Mid Atlantic Section of the PGA of America including the Section Match Play Championship in 2009 and 2021. His biggest victory came in 2018 by winning the Mid Atlantic Section Championship against some of the best players in the country and qualifying him for his second appearance in the PGA Professional National Championship. Bryan brings over 25 years of teaching and club fitting to Hermitage Country Club and is excited to use his rich experience and knowledge of all aspects of the golf industry to help you have a tremendous golf experience with every lesson.

A proud member of The Golf Guys tour, a group of NASCAR drivers and industry execs, Bryan captured the 2021 Championship at Carmel Country Club in Charlotte, NC.
